@casshan01: This post is full of so much BS it's not even funny. You contradict yourself every other sentence claiming "you're not in this war" but then are extremely biased and ignorant toward the Xbox consoles. The PS3 DID catch up and wound up with more and better exclusives than the 360, not to mention it was a more powerful system. ALL of the Xbox 360 exclusives minus Halo, Forza, and Gears of War jumped ship to other platforms. Outside of those games it was all third party stuff. Most Xbox 360 games were upscaled to 1080p while most PS3 games were native 1080p.

To say the PS4 is a roided up PS3 is completely ignorant and stupid. The reviews are also not biased, and that's funny coming from someone who has never played these games. I get so SICK of these stupid console war BS that these fanboys spew. It's the same BS every time with no meaning or solidity behind it. You get the same tired arguments over and over again

-Console A or B has better exclusives

-Console A or B is more powerful

-Console A or B is this or that

In the end, it comes down to sales and quality exclusives. The PS4 and Xbox One are nearly identical in terms of user experience and what they offer. I own EVERY console known to man and can say this without being on either side of the fence. Right now I'm playing my PS4 more thanks to great exclusives right now. That may change in the future. I use my Xbox One S to play third party games as it upscales nicely to 4K on my 60" 4K TV. I use my Xbox One S to watch 4K Blu-Rays but I use my TV for Netflix and YouTube and other streaming services as it's right there on the TV and I don't have to boot up a console.

To top it all off Sony has the advantage of third party titles being exclusives while all of Microsoft's are in house. It means for a slower build up of exclusives and that's what killed the Xbox 360 in the end. MS couldn't keep up with the exclusives themselves and almost no third party developers stepped in. When they did they jumped ship to PS3 and Wii at some point. Nintendo is facing the same problems as Microsoft. No third party developer wants to exclusively develop for those systems as the sales aren't there. Why would you make a game exclusive to a system that isn't selling the best? Yeah, makes a lot of sense from a business standpoint.

I think the worst part about this review is the retarded ass comments. Some of you people pull stuff straight out of left field that makes zero sense. But that's GameSpot and I somehow always seem surprised. The older gamers tend to be mature about the games and the younger ones pretend to bring up logical reasoning, political issues that have nothing to do with the game to feel like grown-ups, or other dumb reasons.

@matthew1010001: You're a child. The elite is not an overpriced controller as you have obviously never used one. You have to pay for quality buddy. Second, when did Sony copy the elite controller? All controllers have been expensive. Xbox 360 and PS3 controller were $60 a piece. Third, Sony allows delays for better quality products. There's a reason why Sony has tons more memorable and celebrated franchises than Xbox.

Don't you remember nearly every Xbox 360 exclusive jumping ship and going to other platforms? I love Xbox and own every system (including the S) but facts are facts kiddo.

@johncas89: The elite controller isn't overpriced. High-end gaming mice are $150 and I own 5 of them. If you want quality you have to pay for it. The elite controller has a lot of moving metal parts and is so much better than the standard controller. Don't knock something if you haven't used it.

You can't expect top end quality and pay $30 for it. That's not how the world works. I was given a cheap $30 mouse to review for free and it feels like a $30 mouse. Cheap and crappy. You get what you pay for.

@bdrtfm: Agreed. It's one freaking game and everyone acts like somehow every game was cancelled. Microsoft did Platinum a favor and they didn't get results. Would you pour millions into a project and not get good results? No one played the game so anyone saying it would have been good is full of crap. They don't know.

@dgxumbreo7: Probably not. If they released shitty exclusives you would say you'd rather have none at all. Can't make everyone happy.

@dgxumbreo7: I game on all platforms and Xbox One has great exclusives. The dashboard sucks, but so did the Xbox 360's at the very end of the life cycle. They took the great Xbox Next Experience (NXE) and ruined it.

@hotwog21: You like stagnation? You clearly don't like change. Not everyone has a great idea pop into their head at the time. Microsoft's original Xbox One dashboard was what they thought was best at the time. New ideas come up and things change. Get used to it.
