I'll be stuck with my old PC for a while yet and I'd like a way to search your PC reviews by minimum systems specs.

For instance, I'd like to be able to enter a processor and amount of video RAM and get a list of game reviews that fit the specs. If I could sort them by genre that'd be just too dang convenient. I guess I could search by date but that's so sloppy.

It would be an awesome tool to get people to look at older games and give new life to older content. Yes! It'd be a boon to PC gaming in general!

I got a MBP for work and it's awesome. I haven't installed bootcamp tho. There is a pretty steep cost premium for macs. When i got mine, there were similarly equipped PC laptops for $1000 less on newegg.com. I got mine for mac os, though. It's way more mature than vista. If you're just going to game, why not just get a tricked out PC laptop? But if you want to use iLife or take advantage of the rest of OSX, go for it without hesitation.:D

It doesn't ring a bell for me but I suggest you add a few more details. Was it a 2d or 3d game? Did you get it retail or onine?

Thanks for the replies everybody. I guess the scratch marks on the disk are too much for my unit to overcome. I wiped it down last night but no luck.

Maaaybe you should play original games? And no, there aren't any button combinations. It's not a devkit.SoulSlayer_

Thanks for the reply but please don't jump to conclusions. I got this game used but it is official.

Hi Everybody,

My friend moved to London and gave me his PS2. 8)

Today, I got two games for it. God of War and Jak 3. I played GOW for a few hours. It's great. Then, I put in the Jak 3 disk to try it out. The opening cinimatic played fine. It asked me to press 'start' and I did. Then it asked if I wanted to create a new game. I chose 'yes'. Then the screen went black. I've reset the console but it repeats this behavior every time.:?

I played a lot of PC games but don't know how to troubleshoot the PS2. Is there a button combination or something I need to press to get out of a bad loop? I don't even know what the most likely trouble is. The 8MB memory card worked fine creating/saving games with GOW.

Any help troubleshooting this? Thanks!

I'm playing F1 for the first time, now. it does have great atmosphere and is fun. I am only a few hours into it, tho. The thing about the graphics is this, This game has awesome Art Direction. So, they made the most of what they had to work with.
