While Final Fantasy IX is not the paramount of the series, it still holds up as a highly enjoyable RPG even today.
When we think of the Final Fantasy series, we think of how awesome Cloud was, how prissy Tidus was, and how obnoxious Squall and Rinoa were together. Final Fantasy IX never seems to fall into the immediate memory of the ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
KHII is a front-runner for game of the year, with amazing storyline, graphics, sound, and flat-out fun value.
There was something for everyone in Kingdom Hearts 1. An engaging plot, Disney, Final Fantasy cameos, gorgeous landscapes, a catchy soundtrack, a working battle system, and lovable characters. Yet, there were problems. B... Read Full Review5 of 8 users found the following review helpful
While not perfect, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an incredibly fun game and a must-have for the Wii.
Three or so years ago, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was released. Personally, I thought this game was great. It was an unexpected yet welcome change from the typical Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask Zelda gameplay. Y... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Do yourself a favor: Quit playing about halfway through the third disk. Otherwise, this is a very fufilling game.
Final Fantasy VIII is, at times, the best Final Fantasy in the series. It has everything possible that you could want in your RPG. An ever-changing battle system, lucious environments, colorful characters, a great storyl... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Building on the formula used in their last game, Mercenaries, Pandemic creates one of the funniest game environments ever, a communist-fearful 50's US. You are a clone of Cryptosodorium, a warrior for a dying race called... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Sonic's first forray on the wii is clumsy, plotless, and most of the time just frustrating and unenjoyable.
Sonic has always been one of my favorite video game characters. I always sport a sonic-themed wristband on my right wrist. So when I finally saw Sonic and the Secret Rings in the bargain bin at my local Gamestop, I of co... Read Full Review3 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Donald the sorcerror? Goofy the knight? Why do I find this cool? Because this game does a great job of selling the idea.
I must be going crazy. I haven't said that Goofy was cool in ten years. I haven't seen watched a Disney cartoon in ten years. It's been ten years since I stopped loving Disney at the age of three. Squaresoft decided to t... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Okay, I'll admit it. Missions can be very boring. This game shows you that. So rather than doing the missions, you can blow up things! How does that sound? Stupid? Well, of course, but its more fun than stupid. Okay, let... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
This entry in the Sonic series will make you remember why that weird talking blue hedgehog is so beloved.
The people at Team Sonic are smart people. They listen to their fans. In Sonic Adventure, they gave Sonic a little more than a mediocre story. In Sonic Adventure 2, they eliminated the annoying overworlds and put it stag... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
This game is so much different than its previous handheld predecessors, it would be unbelivably stupid to overlook it.
What a pleasant little surprise. I thought I would be in for a desperate attempt to use the Zelda license, but instead I find a game that takes the GBA hardware to the next level. With graphics only exceeded by a small h... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
The newest edition of DDR is so addictive that you'll find yourself wanting to play this rather than something like GTA.
Wow. I feel happy. I am giggling uncontrollably. My feet are sore. But I'm happy. So are my friends. Why am I happy? I have been making a fool of myself dancing on a dance mat for the eleven billionth time. This version ... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Boy, someone just took a dump in my ice cream. After devoting hours into such a fun game last year, I feel like some white guy at a computer desk is really trying hard to be cool at the cost of making a half-decent game.... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
On Christmas morning, when I first opened this game, I found myself pleasantly surprised with a remake of the classic game Super Mario 64. Popping in this game, I saw the castle yet again, and found myself entering the c... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful
There is little I can say to fully express my hatred for this game. It's Pictochat with a smaller box! And hey, guess what, it's only $30! And whoever said that the minigames would be a good idea to this chat-based game,... Read Full Review4 of 9 users found the following review helpful
MGS 3 takes a departure from previous entries to provide us with a highly addictive and just a downright better game.
You are running quickly through a forest. They are right behind you. They are armed with AK-47s, and have radios with them. If you give them time to stop, they will call reinforcements and more of them will come. You hav... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Coming into this game, I thought that the changes would make this game too complicated. Boy, was I wrong. This games fuses great games in recent memory together, such as Smuggler's Run, Grand Theft Auto 3, and Final Fant... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
If you can get past it's unnesescary levels, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle can be the most fun you can have with $20.
Now I am a big fan of platformer games. I expected going into this game that I would be in for a platforming-filled treat. After playing through a level where I started out snowboarding down a street, running down a wall... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
While it features some aspects from OOT and MM, Wind waker is significantly different than previous Zelda games.
What began as a series about a knight and a princess has evolved into a game involving talking plants, people with wings, an enormous ocean, an incredible plot, and so much more. Now, I admit, this game didn't take my br... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful

The latest Final Fantasy improves on the old elements of the series in every way possible. Play it or die.
Wow, what a game. One minute I'm playing blitzball in a city arena, the next I'm fighting undead sorcerrers in a ruined city. Of course, all the Final Fantasy games have been known for their variety. So while this should... Read Full Review1 of 3 users found the following review helpful
With a new complex defensive play calling system, football is fun on both sides of the ball in this great game.
Now, I admit, Madden NFL 2004's defense had me screaming in anger. But now, my screams are kept to a minimum only to bad ref calls. Don't get me wrong, I had lots of fun screaming at the refs. This game captures football... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
