I used to work at an EB and my managers would take home those gutted copies; they got to play halo 2 before it was released. Lucky dogs.They never let me take home any freaking games...

But honestly; i'm not going to complain about them not letting me or the fact that they took games home.

Yea, they should treat the games better if they borrow them, but playing the games gives them more knowledge about the game, therefore, allowing them to sell the game easier. What? THIS IS A SALES TACTIC!? WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT!? (sarcasm)

So! I have no problem buying from these stores, because:

1) You can tell if they did their own shrink wrap on a case (it usually always has a small hole in it, and there's a huge crease on the side), SO: I'll ask for a different copy.

2) If they hand me a brand new copy that's not shrink wrapped, I'LL: ask for a different copy, or ask to see the disc.

GENIUS!

In conclusion, allowing employees to take home games helps them sell those games so just be on guard. Check the case, check the disc, and don't be a moron.
