are they counting the replacement consoles they had to ship out due to failure rates that were once 48% and now still 25%?

i hope there is a lot of options and its not just boiled down to its internet features as the saving grace if you are willing to go out the extra mile 6 euros a month, i agree with most of you, the trailer seems lifeless.City life is such a repetitive game, i hope MC doesn't make the same mistake again. You can say almost anything that is wrong with SCS, but at least SCS was full of life, if you really try, it can suck you in, almost every single city you build will have something that you can do that makes it stand out against any other someone made, especially with the FREE exchange.

wow does the US congressmen have anything better to do then to repeal C.A laws and leave then owing 280k when they are in a budget crisis? Seriously, the economy is horrible, people are miserable, more and more corporations and local stores are going under, and then all those people are out of work, our foreign relations are also in the trash, a lot of countries out there hate us, but NONE of that is more important then to make sure C.A doesn't put stickers on video game boxes. There are still a lot of people who supported the law, and the people who don't it doesn't really effect them at all, they can just buy the game and then hand it to their kid. xD

this may make more jobs in short run but ms shouldn't go to crazy and adopt apple's plan (apple is ok with it, because it has been established their way forever, if ms turns too it will cause problems) becuase ms will sign deals with lets say on OEM, if its DELL, hp will be ****** and acer and all those people, and some of them may go under and lose more jobs, or if ms opens their own product line and tells the OEMS screw you then the OEMS have no choice other then to make their own os, or start signing deals with Canonical, Red Hat or Mandriva or etc.But that also can help the opensource teams grow, but that won't create real paying jobs unless the OEM deals go to a real "company" of opensource like Redhat or Mandriva (doesn't include ubuntu because they run on donations)

I don't know how everyone can bash the graphics soo soon.It has only been official for a few months, and it takes a year-years to make a decent game. These graphics arn't final, and a lot of games that you can say have great graphics didn't have all great graphics in alpha and all those stages. They probable focus are REAL improvements, and save textures and shaders for last.

Man whats up with all the SCS hate. This game only has issues in Vista (OF COURSE) and works flawlessly in xp.The reason is that is due to an issue with windows vista sp1, where dx10 Nvinda/ATI cards choke in vista sp1 with high demanding dx9 games.A developer from Tilted Mill Entertainment told me that so... SCS is a fun game, you guys are just trying to play it like sc4, and you won't get anything out of it that way.Think about it, sc4 is where you play the mayor,SCS is a flat out city builder. You can directly design your city of your dreams without any sorta "RCI" demand system.SCS is instead made on a home/work/venue system, where you focus more on the sims and the city, rather then having to deal with traffic, taxes, health care, and all that crap. You guys should check on the tilted mill forum and check the city journals and see what people could do, its where they use their imagination, rather then being a strategist. And also, tilted mill does not make crappy games (unlike what someone said) tilted mill makes ANCIENT CITY BUILDING GAMES, i don't really think they will be great making what you call a "true" sc5 with all the complexity. They rather have a different focus in games, where instead of sc4 where everything is based on graphs and city polls and stuff, SCS is based on each and sim/person in your city, which could take up a bit of computer resources.

This game looks pretty good, its odd and different from others, but that is what makes games great.

EA go to hell! You done many things to destroy games and game companies. Examples: SCS, when this game was meant to take you out of the real world and put you in the "city of your dreams" or "build any city you want" you HAD to put a real life logo in the game, BP, WHY THE HELL DO WE WANT A OIL COMPANY LOGO IN OUR GAME?Plus, if you haven't screwed tilted mill enough already, they are the ones who made SCS worth playing, yet they get no credit for making the game, EA just ignores it,they slap a EA logo in-game, on the front and back cover, where is the tilted mill logo? "Oh we give them enough credit, we gave them the tiny little print at the bottom of the back cover, just enough so we don't get into lawsuit issues" I bet that is exactly what was in their heads.Yet we pay $50 to get every power source with a bp logo slapped on it, and in the in-game help, IT EVEN LISTS BP'S WEBSITE!!!What the hell is that? Have anyone seen how much ads on the back cover of crysis? hmm lets see, "play to win with intel core 2 extreme", nvidia, "the way it was meant to be played", "plays best on alienware", on the front cover, "games for windows". Oh yeah, EA was great with Maxis in the beginning, but have you noticed now, the maxis brand is fadding away?Guess what, the logo isn't even on the sims 2 cover.
