Gonna be getting a TV something like this...

I was wondering if anyone out there already has or has seen what Wii games look like on that scale.

Also what type do you have/did you see it on?  Plasma? LCD? DLP Projection?

I seen it at bestbuy it was a 50" DLP screen. It looked fantastic, All you need is a Nintendo brand component cables and set to widescreen 480p because the wii does not go up 1080p. But it still looks fantastic, they were playing Zelda and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.

Ok so to ay I went to put in my wii sports disk my Wii, and it couldn't read the disk so I went to see if there were any sratches, and there were some but no a lot. so I cleaned off the disk just in case, and I put the disk in my Wii again and the freaking thing still didn't work. so then I cheaked it again and washed it one more time and even then it still didn't work!! WTF!! I've seen Ps2 and Xbox disk in a more decreped state and they still play well! what s going on nintendo? now IDK if it's just the kind of disk they uesed sinse it was just a free demo and nintend wanted to save money and uesed a cheaper kind of disk wich is sensitve to any kind of punishment or the disk reader in my Wii is defective or the Wii's disk reader isn't good enough or to sensitive to disk pumishment. I've al- so noteist an other thing the Wii, Xbox360, and PS3's disk are made up of some kind of wierd kind of plasitc that is very bendable and flimsy unlike the last gen disk, I wonder if thats my problem.

has anyone have these kind of problems as well?

I play my Wii Sports game on my Wii and it plays perfectly dispite all the scratches and dust that are on the disk.

get a widescreen, it is much better.

Freindlies require friend codes and can be played globally although global games are prone to lag.
