@effinjay: I am a bit confused as you say I've already seen a mini Genesis with built in games and cart support, never in person but sold in local ads and on Amazon at one time as well. I guess those and the ones you refer to are unofficial?
@angrycreep: I suspect a lot of the game will feel dated by today's standards but maybe that will also be part of what makes it special? I have a feeling it will be "true" to the Shenmue name, will probably get mostly poor reviews, but will be something special for fans even if they don't think it's an overall great game in terms of today's gaming landscape.
@Prats1993: You can argue both sides really. I could talk about this subject for ages but, nah I won't, I'm too lazy for long comments these days :). I'll just say again, there are fair and reasonable arguments on both sides.
My town lost its last "real" arcade way back, probably 15yrs ago. Since then we have had some family fun activity centers pop up with laser tag go karts etc., and they also have arcade machines, but it's not the same of course.
