@pvspartan36 With you on most of this, I'm in Australia so the price difference for me is only $50 and was still considering switching sides. But all my friends are sticking with Xbox so if I want to play multiplayer with them I gotta stick with Microsoft.

My interaction with Kinect will have more to do with the features they talked about regarding the Kinect being able to identify me with my profile and sign me as in as well as in split-screen allocating me a spot on the TV depending on my position in the room. Simple stuff that while not amazing, still nice touches.

I currently play all my games on my 360. I play on Live sometimes but to be honest my internet connection is not good enough to sustain a decent Live session for over an hour. Needless to say, I can't have a console that "always on" if I can't keep connection. Sorry Microsoft I can't "deal with it"

It's funny, I'm an xbox guy but at the end of last year I noticed so many negative Wii U articles on the site I couldn't help but get curious, I read them, they seemed harsh. So I looked on other sites and magazines and found something very interesting...

While most other sites would mention Nintendo in negative ways at times it also highlighted the many strengths of the console and it's games. So the weeks went by and I noticed that Gamespot kept posting really shockingly bad articles about Nintendo.

Now we get to this big Nintendo event and it seemed like while most gaming journalists were happy with most of the announcements, some excited to see old favourites while others just relieved that there seems to be some depth in the line up for 2013/14. But again I turn to Nintendo coverage for Gamespot and surprise, surprise they bash it again.

To be honest if I ever get a Wii U it won't be anytime soon, it just hasn't really clicked with me but I am just tired of seeing the same negative view of it on this site. These have an element of opinion in them but please can these guys just point out their bias against Nintendo from the get go for I know that I can tune out.

Sorry man, I'm no Nintendo fan boy, I'm a 360 guy and it shocks me how I can read gamespot and here story after story about how bad the Wii U is going then go on other sites giving me a different story. Quality reporting this is not!

Last Generation I bought all three consoles. only turn on my Wii to play Zelda and Mario, I play most of my games on 360 and use my PS3 for MGS 4, Uncharted 2&3 and watch Blu Rays. This coming generation I will buy all three consoles. Only turn on my Wii U to play Zelda and Mario, play most of my games on the NEXTBOX and use my PS4 to watch movies and play Uncharted and MGS.

What's with all the haters, don't pick sides, it ain't a football team, you can choose them all, or leave one out if it's not for you. Just get over all this garbage, if you don't like the Wii U just don't buy it.

@StarkJJ @Jestersmiles Well yes and no. Will the other console copy what Nintendo have done here? Yes, but revolutionized is a strong word. For starters no games on the Wii-U could be described as changing the way we play games for the better in the long term and as for the way Wii changed gaming. Yes, everyone uses motion controls in some way shape or form now but most of the best games that were released this year were still very conventional games such as the Halo games, COD, Mass Effect 3 and Dishonored.

That said, I will buy a Wii-U eventually for its 1st party games. It is a new way to play games but by no means Revolutionary.

Was a massive Nintendo man prior to the current generation, a serious return into the traditional gamer market will be needed for me to drop my 360 controller. It is getting to the point where I am willing to miss Mario and Zelda rather than buying another Nintendo console. Hoping for good things this time around but not expecting it.

I don't think there will be a truely great sports game that appeals to Aussie audiences any time soon. The money and the market just isn't there.

Don't get me wrong, updates are great but to be honest, this really isn't enough to convince me that I need a new DS. I still he the original DS with its chunky design and all and I still think it does the job just as well.
