Why am I getting EXP in the bottom right corner after games in RTTS? What is that used for? It's not points to improve my player. That is a separate number. What in the world. I can't figure it out.

Ok I loaded the game and am in Gran Pulse. Is there supposed to be a Chocobo just running around or what? I am here just fighting the giant turtles and stuff.

I just beat FF13 and can't seem to find out how to ride a Chocobo. I have looked in the FAQs and Walkthroughs and they all tell about where to find the treasures but not how to actually ride the stinking thing. I need a Chocobo Reins? How do I get that? I say one that said in Chapter 11 and another that said only after beating the game. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
