Ok that's a shame... :(

I did some more tests, decided to do it on low out of curiosity and the fps was almost the same... makes no sense at all...

I did try to play on 1080p but it looks very bad.. 2k is my screen native resolution...

Plus when i played on 1080 i got 60 fps only when i lowered bunch of stuff, so i rather stick to 2k..

Buying a new card is really not an option...

I get 50~ fps on GTA V with a pretty high setting with 2k resolution

I play in 1080p, on minimum settings - 30-40fps, my card - 770GTX.

Will need to do the same... we have same cards.. sucks..

Before i begin here is my full rig:

i7-4790, gtx 770 4gb, asus z97 pro motherboard, 16gb memory, windows 7

I'm having troubles running the game on high settings, i think it's mainly because my resolution is 2K... haven't tried to check how it is with 1080 because i would like to keep it 2k anyway and just lower some more stuff, but i don't know what stuff should i lower without losing too much from the pwetty graphics.

I don't see a lot of fps change from ultra to high so i have no idea what to lower... i turned off nvidia hair because that made my fps around 25.. anything else don't really make any difference so i'm at a loss :\

I don't aim for 60fps, i will be happy if ill get a steady 45-50

would like to get some help, thanks!

This screams pre-built PC, dont ask us, ask the company you bought it from.

It's not a pre-build pc... i build it on my own

Ok i did some stuff:

1) it is running 16x 3.0

2) i did the HDD test, it's all good (using CrystalDiskMark)

3) my pc is super clean, i have almost no programs on it as it is purely for gaming

Gonna run a virus scans next and disable some minor programs using msconfig on startup and see how it goes...

thanks

Hi.

I have a gaming pc (i7-4790, 16gb ram, gtx 770 4gb, asus z97-a).

I always had an unstable fps, games that would run at 90 fps (like gw2 on ultra), suddenly run at 25-30... and it's random.. today they run well, tomorrow they might not run past 30 fps and i have no idea what causing it.

The only thing i found out that a restart can fix the problem BUT it can also make it worse. Sometimes a restart caused the fps drop and sometimes it fixed it (tried many times).

PC is not overheating, i have a water cooling and a few fans so that is also not the problem..

I'm at a loss here and would like some help .. thanks!

**Sorry for all the edits**

It's not the card. I had the same issue with my 32" 21:9 monitor. It's the dvi cable. Not that the cable is bad, but you need to use hdmi or display port. I read up on dvi cables which are spec'd to handle the resolution, but dvi never worked for me. I had the same resolution settings as you see now when on dvi. It maxed out at 1920x1080. The second I switched to a display port (also used hdmi), it worked like a charm. My system saw the monitor resolution of 2560x1080p. While I was on the dvi cable, I would hit 1920x1080 and everything looked fuzzy, and really poor. The reason I used the dvi cable at first was because I have multiple inputs going to my monitor and my display port/hdmi ports were already in use (second pc and PS4). My main pc used the display port and the 2560x1080 worked fine, but my secondary pc (connected via the dvi port) wouldn't hit the same resolution. So I ended up swapping out the display port/dvi cables between my computers and poof, the second pc ran at it's native resolution and my main pc wouldn't. I'm pretty sure your video card doesn't have a display port either right? If there was a way to swap out to a card with an hdmi or dp to test it out on, I think you'd see it would work just fine then.

yeah you got the same problem as me.. problem is that there's no display port in this card...

I'm sure display port will solve the problem because it works well on my main pc..

and yes my DVI cable is for sure DVI-D...

Anyway thanks for the help i'll see what i can do from here, maybe change graphic card..

Hi

I'v got a desktop pc with GT 9500, it is hooked up to a Dell monitor 29'' (U2913WM). I have troubles getting the max resolution which is 2560 x 1080. According to the GT 9500 specs, this card can support up to 2560x1600.

What i tried so far:

1) Using DVI-D Duel Link cable, i can get 2560 x 1080 with it, but it looks fuzzy/pixelated (it gives 1920x1080 fine).

2) Using DP to DVI cable - monitor can't even recognize this cable at all. it acts like nothing is even hooked up...

I'm kind of at a loss here because i don't understand why the first option looks fuzzy, and why the second option not even recognized by the monitor. There's no HDMI in this card so can't try that... im confused because this card supposed to support up to 2560x1600...

What can be the problem?

BTW, i tried the DVI-D cable on another monitor and it gives the same problem there too, resolution over 1920x1080 looks fuzzy, like it cant push up higher then that... even though it supposed too.. i don't think the card is faulty because it gives 1920x1080 just fine.

i'v been thinking to download everything because it is faster.. buying retail games for me means only online and that's around 2 weeks of waiting... because retail games here where i live are ridiculously expensive...

How much GB every game is? maybe i can buy it from the nintendo shop-->play-->delete--> install another?

It will not take space until i install it, no?

I'm gonna order the basic 8GB wii u, and i want to add an external hard drive seeing as 8GB is not enough,

Does it need to be something special, or any kind will do?

Thanks.

I went in the end for the DeathAdder and i was surprised how comfortable this mouse feel, i was always sure that every mouse is pretty much the same and how big the differences could possibly be because this is "just a mouse". Will i ruin it if i'll use it without a pad? (last time i had a pad was like 10 years ago and i don't really like them).

Turned out that i also often use a claw grip, it depends on whatever i'm doing. Does this mouse still apply?
