The Run is still one of my personal favorite games to this day. That race where you coming down a mountain and that last race was intense as well. If payback has just as many moments I'm in.
I'm playing it right now since I bought it for $20 and its not as bad as I've read.
I give it a solid 7/10. The UI is terrible and the crafting system is unnecessary weird. It suffers from open world syndrome that every game this gen has seem to adopt imo, but I'm having fun with it
The worlds so far have looked great and if 2018 is true I'm there.
I hope Nomura opts to present a good story in linear fashion within the open world as opposed to having open worlds with fetch quests 1,2,3,4 and the occasional 5 sec cut scene. I swear it all this gen has been so far...
This. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and new info on the No More Heroes game are what I'm waiting on. That and will probably wait for updated consoles so they work the kinks out of the first runs. One thing Nintendo sucks at is price cuts. Not even on Black Friday.
Oh and I really want to meet these wives/girlfriends that let you pull out a Switch and just start playing while they do other things. My wife would kill me if I did that ish while watching a movie/etc
I'm not a Metroid fan at all so those two announcements I could care less about.
Just saw some footage from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but I wanted something from No More Heroes personally. I really just would like to see some more new IPs in general from Nintendo whether it is with other companies or not, starring new characters. I'm only saying this because I know Nintendo has the talent and resources. Thats why I give it to Sony. They may fail, but at least they try.
That said, they have sold me on a Switch.......later own in the couple years towards the end of its cycle like I did with the Wii. There will probably be an update to the console/handheld by then and I just don't see anything here for me to jump and get one.
