The Last of Us followed by Bioshock: Infinite

Both had great stories, but I thought the gameplay was more varied and more fun in TLOU.  Also, TLOU will keep you playing longer since since it's longer, has a new game plus mode, and has multiplayer.  I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying the multiplayer in TLOU; I bought the game for the story but it's easily the most fun I've had in a mp game in years.

Give us more info than that.  What types of games do you like?  What type of experiance are you looking for?

ok ok. I am pretty much a sucker for games with good stories and characters which have unique personalities that you are forced to love or hate...

such as bioshock, walking dead, batman arkham series, uncharted, enslaved, heavy rain

I would say The Last of Us sounds the best then.

I'm around 2/3 done with The Last of Us, and I'm loving it so far. The story, characters, atmosphere, and variety of gameplay really make it standout from the crowd.  Far Cry 3 is also a great game, but the game is good for it's open world environment, not for its story (although the antagonist in the game, Vaas, is pretty spectacular).  I can't really comment on Tomb Raider since I haven't played it yet.

Yes, one player at a time. Up to 10 family members. BUT, you and one person can play the same game at the same time. None of your family members can do that though. Refer to original post near the bottom. And people will buy it. Change for many is hard. On top of that physical copies have been around forever. But I buy two copies of plenty of games for just my one household. So me and my brother/dad can play online together. Now it's just one copy I buy, including dlc. Saves me 60-100 per game. Not to mention he never buys anything but COD and gears. Now he'll be able to play games with me he wouldn't usually. I can see the hate but Xbox one will be successful and awesome as will ps4. If you can't see that your blindKrazymixture

Q:   Why require Kinect with every Xbox One?

A:    The all new Kinect is now an essential and integrated part of the platform.  By having it as a consistent part of every Xbox One, game and entertainment creators can build experiences that assume the availability of voice, gesture and natural sensing, leading to unrivaled ease of use, premium experiences and interactivity for you.

Single-player: Borderlands 2>Black Ops 2>BF3

Co-op: Borderlands 2>Black Ops 2>BF3

Multiplayer: It's preferance I guess. BF3 is more about teamwork on large maps with vehicles. COD on the other hand is more about face paced action by yourself on smaller maps while getting killstreaks. Borderlands 2 does not have multiplayer.

I would strongly suggest that you play the original before you play the second. If you don't, you won't get as much out of story or characters. Also there are more references to the first game and bonus side quests if you import a ME1 save.

Like everyone else said, it's a prequel. The ending of the game sets up the story of the original Deus Ex though.

[QUOTE="Animal-Mother"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"] Purist mode, brah.GamerwillzPS

PURIST MODE. Man seeing people hate on a game this terribly makes me worry about our future as a species.

Every gamer has different tastes, duh.

You're a casual gamer who likes to use aids and guides. I'm the one who wouldn't enjoy that crap. Deal with it.

The amount of elitism in this thread troubles me... :(
