Playing this with Half life is extremely bad.

and its only playing at 360p.

These are the kind of issues we would like fixing, not designs.

Videos have always been a problem with the amount of CPU usage compared to other sites and would certainly think that optimising it so it is as good as other websites should be top of the list for improvements at Gamespot.

This is using Firefox 4 on Windows XP

I am refering to this: When it comes to a live show and its showing the wrong time, it kind of annoys me - quite a bit. No point a localisation if times are wrong.

The time in GMT at the moment is 17:28 and 18:28 BST

By that it would make sense that, it would have already been shown 6 hours ago but the time is all wrong. It doesn't even tell me that is PT, ET or whichever 10 million times there are in the USA.I don't remember this being such a huge problem before the site development.

Sometimes you can get around it using the HTML entity for the symbol , & pound; (without the space), but sometimes that doesn't work. Sometimes just trying to post it twice works. (I had real trouble getting it NOT to convert the entity into a pound sign).

It's certainly not a new problem, but you can usually work around it.

I shouldnt need to type 7 characters just for one character. Just needs to be fixed tbh. If the problem has been in the past, then fix it rather than making a new site layout.

@Phatjam98 I have got PSN and their subscription based service.

For me it was PS+ or Xbox live gold. Had to ring to cancel auto renewal which they were going to offer me £23.99 but still, too much for what I use it for.

Was what I wanted to reply but until I removed the "£", I wasn't allowed? What gives. Fix this please

(Edit: Yes I know its not part of the original ASCII or something like that nor do I really care, its a well known currency even if it isnt the 'powerful' dollar..)

What annoys me the most is, they want feedback but when we say by a large margin we want it changed back - they say "This isn't good enough, we want proper reasons why you don't like it." Eh? Who are your customers in this relationship. Another website is only a click away.

Anyone think the meaning and the context of this is totally different?

Summary: Hey guys thanks for the feedback but we ain't changing. Get used to it or shut up.

Still don't see why we can't have the option to change back... maybe some deranged fan can make up oldgamespot.com.

Maybe it did cost you a bit of money to do this new layout but if I recall, a new layout is now what fans have been crying for. They did cry out for more live shows which you seemingly have listened too but new looks is a no no.

Ok so things I hate:

• Hate that facebook thing completely taking up too much room. Most popular games? I don't care, it was at the bottom for a reason in my opinion - i never looked at it.
• Gamespot logo too in your face, reduce it down a good lot please. Gamespot UK being the worse
• Why must the main navigation bar be completely different?
• Some detail on our profile would be nice. Just says our screen name now.
• Culture? Thats a wierd name the contents.
• Search bar placement seems completely random.
• Also why remove the New Releases column which shows all the releases for every format? I liked that.

Also time of this thread is wrong. It is not 10:42am GMT unless I have teleported 8 hours into the future

Please allow multiple stylesheets with the version we like the best. I do not want this new style at all, I go on Gamespot every day - I like something that is simple and nice on my eyes. This does not help at all, just leave things alone or let people who have spent years going on this site to revert back.
