I feel like they are making characters gay/lesbian in series like Star Trek more for the "shock value" rather than as a natural part of the characters backstory.
I find that kinda cool that Takei despite being happy about it still feels like its a screwing up the original vision a little bit. IMO it feels like they made the character gay just to make him gay and as sort of a tribute to Takei. I don't mind it but it honestly feels like movies these days just have gay/lesbian characters just so people don't bitch about not having them rather than them having a real solid reason or believable backstory as to why they are gay/lesbian.
@punksterdaddy: It was never removed by microsoft because we technically werent supposed to have it yet. People managed to download an unfinished BC version. There were quite a few complaints of people who downloaded it having their xbox's stop functioning properly and some people even had their HD's wiped completely because of the game.

Honestly do you actually even play games?
Seriously you complain you don't want to spend a bunch of bullets to kill enemies and yet in Fallout 4 if you play on anything thats above the easy difficulty then thats exactly what you will do. Its the same in Destiny bro some enemies like golgoroth by himself will take you almost 30 to 40 clips of ammo and probably some of the next guns ammo too. Perhaps you are playing the wrong type of games if this is your biggest complaint because thats what these kind of games are like.
Honestly i don't quite care what your standards are buddy but if you can't even get the genres on the games right then perhaps you don't know a thing. Because from behind my keyboard and yours its hard to tell if you are genuinely asking me if you really don't know a thing or being sarcastic.
@darthrevenx: Except the story fits a Tom Clancy universe. It just doesn't fit the normal tom clancy gameplay which is tactical military shooters. Just like the new god of war game is not going to play the same as the old god of war games but its in the god of war universe.
The game set out to be a loot based shooter with a semi realistic plot which it has done for sure. Perhaps its you that doesn't quite understand what video games and world building are. The splinter cell (Which btw there is no rogue agent splinter cell) is a series focused on Sam Fisher and thats exactly what Double agent does. It follows Sam Fisher through his exploits. The games have never been anything else but games about Sam Fisher and his exploits in the Clancy verse.
You can sit here and say i understand nothing about Tom clancy stuff but from what i have read (you can't even name the game properly) its YOU who doesn't understand much about the Tom clancyverse or even story/world building for that matter.

Also that is literally what pretty much all of the Tom clancy game plots are.... The Division included.
@cboye18: Not low i just have realistic expectations of my games. Unlike some people i didn't expect this to be a destiny killer or be the most amazing game in the universe. But the game set out to do what it wanted and as that game its amazing.
You seem like the kinda guy who sees a game and immediately compares it to another game but then again thats what i would what expect from someone who thoroughly enjoys purchasing every iteration of call of duty or battlefield.
@dominoodle: Because that was their release review which it rightly deserved. At release it was an amazing game and IMO still is.
However they never did a mid year review i don't believe and thats where alot of the complaints came from is what to do after you get geared up and can do the harder stuff.
