Here is one major issue about Xbox One. Xbox 360 was a pretty decent system. I was an owner till I was tired of the very very limited exclusive games. While PS3 provided 1.) a bluray 2.) good exclusive games while providing a lot of the 3rd party games 3.) free online play (aside from online passes (which are dumb btw)).

Now Xbox One is definitely falling behind and also not really giving a big "wow" in their product. They have bluray but many already have one and/or bought a ps3 which had one. The always online security hesitates me. Some people do not even own wireless or internet period. They might have a tv but someone might not have internet. What are they suppose to do? Microsoft did a big let down when they talked nothing about television entertainment and Call of Duty. Call of Duty Ghost looks aboslutely fan-lover and has almost nothing new to the series which copies from Black Ops II. But this is what kills the Xbox One. They try to make this "video game console" into an "entertainment console" which aims more towards tv. Which would a gamer do more: Play a video game or watch tv? Probably video games. You see, despite Sony making good consoles (PS1-3) and questionable consoles (PSP Go and somewhat PS Vita), they do aim towards the gamers. They risk it. And that is why I give more credit. They up the controller. They seem to be aiming towards what gamers want. Xbox One is mostly doing their "own" thing and that is a risky problem. They too are doing risks but their "risks" have major major flaws. Also the whole ordeal with the "we are stopping used games" is utter ridiculous. Be ready for another economic fallout except this time its on video games. People are going to be limited on purchasing video games. Not all of us have a wealthy sum of money. For example, (despite many hating this "example") I go to Gamestop almost every 2-3 weeks. I usually try to aim more towards sales and used games. I can then buy about 4 good decent games for a good fair price. If Microsoft ripped those out, I would be stuck with buying almost one game maybe and that would be it. Not only is Gamestop going to probably fall out of business but other stores like video stores and rental shops will drop out THUS causing more job losses and the limited purchases of games would cause larger companies to get kicked in the arse because they too will crumble down. And then say goodbye to video games.

^Probably I overreacted to that part but it is highly possible. I bet Xbox One called it that name because they hoped to have "one". And I call that epic failure in name and so far the product itself.
