The Thing (1982), picked up the 4K disc last night, and watched it before going to bed. Performances all around were great, the effects still hold up pretty well, and for a movie that's almost 40 years old, looks absolutely amazing. One of my all-time favorites, and they did a great job remastering it.

Didn't the game just release today? And yet, it's considered a masterpiece?! How does that work?
@speeny: I don't have too many DVDs, and the ones I do have are older titles long overdue for either Blu-Ray or 4K upgrades. Learned that Warner Bros. will be putting out all 4 Mad Max movies in 4K this November, so I pre-ordered the box set. Really excited for that one.
@blaznwiipspman1: Well, I had a 1 TB micro sd card, so storage on my Switch isn't really an issue, at least for me.
Sometimes I'll have an older show I've seen a million times before like M*A*S*H on in the background if I'm doing something, I just started actually rewatching Star Trek: TOS and TNG recently.
@girlusocrazy: it's one of those things I remember seeing as a little kid, but it's so fuzzy I thought I imagined it. I remembered saying something like "it's a cat!" whenever it went past the screen.
What can I say? I liked cats when I was little.
@girlusocrazy: I forgot about the cat logo! Damn, that's a throwback.
@speeny: If you like the original Halloween movies, they re-releasing the first 5 movies on 4K blu ray next month. Probably will get the first 3.
