It's funny that im getting a hard time cause i'm only level 7 and I have better things to do then spend the day on the comp posting **** on video games?

and yeah call me impatient, but when the employees tell me come the 21st to pick up your pre-order, I expect it to be there, so I don't need to waste my gas on a 45 minute drive

So I was very excited to buy this game when it released today, but when I got to my closest Eb Games they said they wouldn't be getting it until the 24th.. another 3 days

I'm guessing it's cause i'm Canadian and I understand it takes longer to make bilingual intruction manuals and whatnot, but i'm just kind of bummed out. On the bright side i pre-ordered it so my copy is garunteed.

So for those of you who have the game, any likes or dislikes about the game so far? Would love to hear your opinions

Thanks very much for the info, online split-screen co-op is definetely gonna make my day, and here's having high hopes for competeitive online split-screen, in unranked matches at the very least

Thanks again for doing the research and answering alot of questions for me, as well as selling me on getting the game :)

From what I have seen the console versions don't seem to be living up to the hype and the multiplayer except for the create a map features looks like it pales in comparison to CoD 4. I hope it does turn out alright though as I have this game pre ordered.

While I respect your opinion, I can't take that answer really seriously, mostly because people need to start realizing that even though COD4 was good, it wasn't THAT good, it got boring after a few months for me, seeing the same old maps over and over, and even the new maps didn't fix that problem much for me

Plus you need to consider the single player elements, which in my opinion will destroy COD4's story in everyway, total freedom of choice, much longer, overall more playability

Huge free-roamable environtment, destructible environments, bullet penetration, the ability to set things on fire and watch the fire spread, an estimated 50 hours of story gameplay, huge mulitplayer maps, buying and upgrading wepaons during multiplayer, and hugely diverse map editor, jamming and deteriorating guns, and all this for on $59.99?

Pretty sure Far Cry 2 takes the cake for me

I'm suprised at how little hype this game has gotten since I first heard of it a long while back. I personally think the game is going to be amazing in both single and mltiplayer aspects. The story is supposed to take around 50 hours which i have to say is a long time for an FPS by today's standards. Plus the multiplayer has huge maps, a map editor making limitless options for multiplayer madness as well and seemingly good firefights(from what videos I have seen)

For those who are as excited about this game as I am, what is it that you're looking forward to about this game, and what is or isn't compelling you to buy this game over other new releases around that time?

I wanna hear everyone's opinions :)
