I've played through the game entirely and defeated it in new game plus a few times, trust me I know. What my main gripe with the Shao Kahn fight is that it's supposed to be this epic battle between good and evil, instead it's me jumping back and forth over him giving him a quick kick or two then hopping back around. Nothing epic about that, or satisfying.
A difficult boss should be hard, but a well skilled player can overcome them, leaving the player with an immense sense of gratiffication. MK9 needs a lesson in boss fights because **SPOILER**(not really though..) the Shao Kahn boss fight with Raiden is not hard, it's just stupidly cheap. There is no sense of accomplishment from dodging spear after spear only the flying dragon kick him when he taunts, I thought this was such a disappointing boss fight. What's everyone else's thoughts?

So I had just bought a new laptop and wanted to pick up COD4 on Steam, I`m a bit of a PC n00b so bare with me he haha. I figured I`d check ou CanYouRunIt before I bought the game, everything passes at least minimum except for the graphics card. This was my results :http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/analysis.aspx The 3D and Hardware H&L features are apparently not there. COD4 is an older game and from my understand this graphics card is fairly new, so would it not support these features? Would I be able to run the game without them? Any insight is appreciated, been trying for hours to figure this deal out.
Everyone keeps saying that the beta was bad and that means the game will be bad. Am I the only one on the planet that knows the difference between a beta and a demo? It's not a representation of the finished product, the whole point of a beta is to report the flaws that game has to the developers so they can fix and patch it BEFORE LAUNCH. The released game is probably going to be far better than the beta you all played. If it was a DEMO and was that bad, then I'd be worried because demo's are sneak peaks at a FINISHED game. C'mon people it may not look groundbreaking but give it a chance.
They need to make killstreaks higher, drop the noob tube and return to the idea of everyone having the same set 3 killstreaks, MW2 was just stupid. I HAVE to play that game with cold blooded on at all times other wise you get killed by cheap killstreaks, seriously if I dropped every death I've ever had that was from a harrier or chopper gunner off my KDR, it would be like 4.0. COD4 was gold, WAW was gold, MW2 is garbage.
I don't why IW or MS do something about it. Don't they play the games? Do they see these hackers and just let them be? Honestly they should just look at the leaderboards in MW and see all of the hackers and ban them all from Live.

your talking as if there isnt a massive community numbers way way way into the thousands ... its not an easy thing to police
You could EASILY take a stroll through the top 10000 and find 10000 hackers, it really would not be that hard at all, most of them have kills in the 10 digits, modded their killstreak to say "1337" (leet) and have 0 deaths, and half the gamertags are named after their modding site (Ex.DRUNKSMODSoCOM/ Rank 1/ 2147483647 Kills/ 0 Deaths) it's not hard at all to police and find them, IW just doesn't care at all about it's community, they've already made all their money off the game and DLC so why should they care.
It was fun at first but it got stale real fast. Couldn't help but notice that the soldier class easily overpowers the scout class. It's very unbalanced. The visuals are lackluster but judging from the size of the demo, they probably compressed it. Hopefully the final product looks a lot better. If anything WFC plays more like Unreal Tournament 3 with COD online progression. The choice of colors are really odd. Most of the time I couldn't even see where my teammates or opponents were.. and again, the graphics did not help...Elian2530
I have no problem taking out soldiers with the scout class, just make good use of the dash move and they find it impossible to hit you, very fun plus once more abilities, kill streaks and weapons are unlocked I'm sure I'll have no problem destroying everything that moves with my scout. The ability that makes you stronger when cloakin end lets you take out a soldier in 4 blasts from a shotty so it's not unbalanced at all.
