That's a shame. Whatcha reckon it is, lack of interest?ash10692

Its because Take Two were crazy and bought it from 3DRealms, which we know is the reason those games were selling. The only way we can get MP3 is by getting 3DRealms back into the project.

If you read through it, I think it says "Cancelled".

thanks for your help. I just updated to 2.36 and now it won't read my games. I keep calling and asking different people and they just say "did you update your ps3??" so I do not know what the problem is.jakndaxter7223

Well, mine was reading discs fine, then it kinda started freezing in game. An hour or two later it froze again, I rebooted the console and BAM. No discs were coming up. I'm not sure if it relates to 2.36 but when my refurb comes, I'm not upgrading until 2.4 comes out.

I think its a simple Mini-USB cable, like the one used for connecting your PSP to the computer (or the PS3).

Strange.. What firmware were you running? My PS3 on 2.36 stopped reading discs today so I rang up and there was a huge queue. Anyway, the files will be right for the PS3 no matter what you store them on. As you know, you can store a file (that the computer won't be able to use) on a hard drive. As long as you copy it back into the right part, you should be fine.

Well I rang the Sony PlayStation helpline, and they said just continue to play as normal and ring up if I come across it again. The PS3 has some problems with GTA and they're trying to fix them. Anyway, I've been playing GTA for 2 (nearly 3) hours now and no problems..

The only thing I've done is turned off "Media Connection".

so does it seem to be only in games with multiplayer? because i've been playing uncharted for at least an hour and i haven't experienced any problems, but i'm hesitant to start up GTA4 when the game could just crash in the middle of a mission.fmobliv06

You'll know its coming because you'll get the "Error - Disconnected from Network" thing. When you get that, just reboot the system ASAP.

I pray that Sony sorts this out or there shall be fire and brimstone on their phone line later on. ;)
