They sued them? Either way, Streets Of Rage Remake is even better than Streets Of Rage 2.There's already a Streets of Rage Remake that's ben built from the ground up by fans for 7 years. Right now, it's packed full with content, fluid, polished and briliantly addictive. That prototype looks like clunky sh*t in comparison.
Imagine if SEGA bought the project and upped the sprites in glorious HD (think Rayman Origins fluidity and visuals), it would have ben the best beat 'em up to have ever existed. But nah, they had to sue the team and delete the download links. They don't want a better imagine & money.

[QUOTE="TheKungFool"][QUOTE="gunswordfist"] I personally think it's because they didn't being enough of their IPs to the 64. 64 was the only Nintendo system with no Metroid. Pegalamp
thats a valid point; metroid and fire emblem titles would have gone a long way to interest me in an N64. Still, Poekemon, Mario, Kirby, Zelda etc were all fairly well represented.
what really sunk the N64 much more than no Metroid, was the lack of 3rd party support. Konami, Square, Enix, Capcom, et all moved thier attention to the PSone, which really kicked Ninty in the junk.
The funny thing is even if nintendo had Capcom it would be no different and there would only be a 3D looking street Fighter and megaman 64.Uh what?! One great example of Nintendo and Capcom working together is Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages. If I remember correctly, Capcom made the game themselves. Just imagine what more collaborations could have brought[QUOTE="gunswordfist"]Yes PS1 had better sound and cutscenes but I don't think that's what makes N64 Nintendo so lazy in comparisons. I personally think it's because they didn't being enough of their IPs to the 64. 64 was the only Nintendo system with no Metroid. They only brought a handful of games to their that genmagnax1
There are so many people that just end up getting tired of them and calling them rehashes though. Personally, I was glad that Nintendo kind of took a break from repeating metroid and mario games over and over and I thought that the games that Rare pushed out were superior to pretty much every Nintendo produced game excluding OOT.
Nintendo didn't exactly create that many new IPs for the 64
