I see this pop up every time the ending debacle is raised. Can someone explain to me what exactly did Bioware promise in relation to the ending?

I waited for a PS3 and now I get to get 1 because i live in australia and the block heads at sony droped the release date from november to may because of a miss-order of blue ray lasers that sell for more that $1000 dollars on it's own. And a ausy magazine that got a prototype from sony said it was better than the XBOX 360 so i want to get a PS3 the second they come out
