@Ish_basic: Yeah, I think that violence in girls society is not less then in boys society of same similar status. They just does not show it to outsiders. Girls are more tend to "put on a good face", while boys are more honest in being "bad guy". Maybe I'll make next episode of my game about putting on a good face.

As for audience, I don't know about weebs, but it is definitely not for pedos. Because it is in High School and all characters are older then 14.

@doerevolt: Knowing audience is hard for me, because my audience is Western and I am Asian. But I'll do my best.

@jackamomo: I've watched Perfect Blue, it is classic, hard to not watch.

Bullying should be reported to teachers as violence as a response to violence is the same as giving in.

Maybe it is working at West. But, as I remember my own school, teachers were never involved in children's problems. They just don't care until someone will broke bones or get stubbed with knife. But I am from poor country, maybe Japan is different in this aspect.

It should be a game about how to use intelligence to defeat aggressive stupidity.

When I am making quests for my game, I am trying to create several paths to clear them. Easier one is to fight. Most difficult one is to clear quest without hurting anyone.

@davillain-: Thanks. Yeah, I've played Bully. Great game, but relatively old. It's a pity, that Rockstars don't want to continue it.

@nepu7supastar7: I've played Akiba's Trip too. Actually, it is an important reference for me. Everything, except low-resolution textures, is cool in this game. Also, I've visited Akihabara few years ago and was surprised by how the environment in the game resembles real life Akiba.

I am playing my own game. It's not really "playing", but "playtesting". Playing 1 minute and 30 minute coding and tweaking parameters. And, honestly, I am tired. Want to play games normally.

I can't agree that my game has significant similarity with Senran Kagura. Senran Kagura is a fantasy game, and gameplay with crowd of enemies. But I'am making YanSim-style fangame. It must be somehow realistic. I doubt that it is possible to fight against 20 enemies at once like in Senran Kagura. In Gaijin, if you are against 3 delinquents npc, you are most likely lose. And there are no strong ultra-super punches, like in heroic anime, only simple and effective one.

So, I am thinking that maybe my game is too violent. What do you think? I've posted an gif for example:

To mods: I promise not to post any links to Gaijin go Home! website. And not to sell anything (obviously, this is FANgame, completely free, there are nothing to sell).

If your game is set within an all girl school, it doesn't make sense to be playing as a boy unless they're peaking. . which would really be a stealth game in itself (*≧∀≦*)

Stick with your goals and the demographic you intend to sell towards. Cosmetics should be the last aspect ever considered to be altered over fundamentals and polish. Communication with potential customers is always important, though changing your game for petty reasoning is more likely to damage a project.

Ha-ha, nice idea about boy protagonist. But I've already have some sexual jokes and themes in the game. With peaking it will be super sexual. And western players hate highschool girls to be sexy. That's the main problem.

By the way, I'm making fangame, not planing to sell it or release on Steam, it is free. But if I'll visit Japan, I would love to sell it on Comiket as a doujin game.

Almost every JRPG game. Some ancient godlike evil force is sleeping and the bad guy is doing something with it.

Most obvious variant is Final Fantasy 7. But it's not easy to beat the final boss in it.

@davillain-:There are no "moral" problems with Persona series. In those games, high school students are fighting against some evil force, not against each other. And, for Western culture, as I understand it, against evil force you can do anything.

But I am not interesting in some supernatural evil forces, I want to make game about society and relationships. About good and evil inside people. And those relationships involve bullying and violence.

@RSM-HQ: Yeah, in reality some girls are stronger then boys. But, for some reason, players want to see male characters, when the game is about Material Arts.

I am making a fangame “Gaijin go Home!” based on Yandere Simulator. It is about school and bullying with action gameplay. Actually, the gameplay is more Souls-like, then beat ‘em up, but it’s does not matter.

The thing is, my game is about girls-only school and not only player but mobs too are schoolgirls.

It looks like that western people (I am from Asia) does not like it.

But why? There are no killings or rapes in the game, not a single drop of blood. And no nudity too. Why schoolgirl characters in this context considered as indecent in western culture?

I am good only if I'll really concentrate on it.

As example, I can't continue to play Dark Souls 2, because I took a week break and now every mob is killing me.
