I just have a question for these people making these "games" out of their parents' basements: If you're just gonna make these old-school style games, why not use the much better looking 16-bit style?
@willowvale75: The first movie was the only one that mattered, everything else was filler cash-grab garbage. The Matrix left people asking questions and filling in the blanks, then with the sequels and other garbage it was clear they didn't know what the hell they were doing and just making things up as they went along.
@Oloryn: Yes, the criminal mastermind Joker is what I want to see, not three hours of how some guy turns into that. I'm just not big on origin story movies, especially for characters that have been established for decades. I think they're pointless.
@Oloryn: That's the problem with comic books, they write and rewrite characters 500 times over the course of 50 years. So which version of which comic Joker is this movie based on?
It's hilarious, this entire franchise is such a hot mess of garbage that nerdy fanboys have to go through all sorts of "fan theories" to make sense of it. You can argue the first movie was good and gave us something new, but clearly after the success of the first movie they felt they needed to cash in without having any real ideas, which is why the sequels are such convoluted messes that make no sense.
@Oloryn: Except this still looks like some generic crazy clown, and not the Joker. Not to mention this is totally unnecessary, there is no need for some guy's version of a Joker origin movie. We don't need a sob story so we can feel bad for the guy, he's supposed to be pure evil.
