I haven't played the first game, but I'm playing Borderlands 2 right now and is one of the BEST games I've played this year, so much fun, amazing graphics and superb gameplay.

WTF iis obvious: Super Mario Bros. 3.

Next year Platinum Elite Reward will be a super awesome Mario Napkin. Totally dissapointed :(
