@tre802001 And again, search around and you will be surprised that the PSP STILL is selling MORE that even the new 3DS, go to vgchartz and see for yourself.
@elancion If I were a 3rd party company I will not be wasting my time and resources porting my games to the WiiU, it looks weird for a developer, the developer would need to spend time and people porting games to that new controller and even changing the concept of their games, is not the same for other consoles because the controllers are similar and thus, the games concept can remain similar. Like the article said, the only ones that would likely fully exploit the controller is Nintendo itself.
@tre802001 I always thought the Wii would be far beyond PS3 and XBox360, and it is indeed, like I said the Wii sold a lot just because of the hype, I don't know any gamer that own a Wii, the Wii owners are no-gamers or light-gamers that just bought a Wii because they thought they needed it or because of the Hype, and most of them got bored after a few weeks of their Wii. If you don't believe just search around on Google to find that the Wii sales are dropping like an airplane since like 2 years ago, no body is buying Wiis anymore, the seller hype is over, it was time now for Nintendo to announce the successor before it wast to late. If not for the DS Nintendo would have been in serious trouble right now.
I think the WiiU is the demise of Nintendo, I even predict the PSVita will own the 3DS next year, poor Nintendo, I remember the good ol' days of simple controllers and good games on the SNES and Gameboy *sighs*
@StingrayX5 Most people I know (and this is the truth) got their Wii just for the hype, after 3-4 weeks they were disappointed for the lack of hardcore games like Bioshock and the graphics, some of them even started selling their Wiis after a few weeks of purchase just to buy a PS3 LOL Glad that hype never got to me and I bought a Xbox 360, I just borrowed one Wii from my friend just to play Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess, 2 of the very few really good games on the Wii. I think the Wii sold a lot just because of the way it was marketed (extremely fun social games) and because old mums wanted to burn the fat with the Wii Fit.
