my original xbox 360 was the basic model with everything but it got the red rings i still got everything but missed being able to send it out so i was just planning on buying the arcade version cause its the cheapest. Is it basically the same thing as long as i put in my hardrive? Is it a good idea?clevany

You have a three year warranty for the red ring. You're covered at least until November of this year. Why don't you just call MS and have your broken 360 repaired instead of buying a new one?

Blackout and Ghost Town are awesome. Avalanche is pretty good too.

The pack is well worth it imo, and the price has been reduced to 600 or 650 recently.

They mean a promotion in the commercial sense of the word.

Like if a company has a sale, that's a promotion. If a company has a contest where you have to buy their product, that's a promotion for that product.

They are talking about companies having competitions where Xbox Live Marketplace points are given away as prizes. They happen intermittently, you just have to wait for the next one.

It's most likely an expansion to Halo 3 telling the story of what happened on Earth between the destruction of New Mombasa and the return of the Master Chief at the start of Halo 3, told from the point of view of an ODST trooper.

Well it clearly says Halo 3 at the end, so it's obviously an expansion pack.

The running theory at the Bnet forums is that it's a squad-based ODST game based on the human campaign between the destruction of New Mombasa in Halo 2 and the return of the Chief at the start of Halo 3.
