Do you have a main router downstairs, where you can plug Ethernet cables in? If so, buy a 20 or 30 foot cable, (depends where your xbox is in correlation to the router) and drill a hole through the ceiling. Run the cable through the hole, then plug one end into the router, and the other into the Xbox. Then seal up the hole with caulk, foam, or something for insulation reasons. That's what I did. ^^
What genre of game? RPG / Shooter/ any? Rockband games you can create your band members. With shooter games i can't think of any where you can customize people, other than yourself. =/
