Have u ever paid some interest in news or post in non retard people forum? O_o I guess - not. 256MB is so enough for most of games and 512MB will be needed only if u want to play game on resolution higher than 1600x1200. And i don't see point to play a game on suh high res, especially if it's first person shooter. And one more thing. I have really old PC (P4 2.4GHz, 512mb, 5500FX 256mb), but i play FEAR, CoH, Oblivion on about 25fps. U only need to some brains and tweak graphic settings and u get what u want (FEAR 800x600, processor options maximum, volumetric lights max, light max, texture med, shadows off and i have average 25fps). And in such intense game as CoH, of course if u are not a total noob and don't play vs easiest AI, u have no time watching graphic as u have to make at least 100amp (4 noob - actions per minute). For the user who posted this thread - your PC is just fine, u can play 90% games on med settings, and 100% games with a little tweak with no lag at all. BTW, there is some stupid games that can't be tweaked, such as Prey. Lame game. I was able to play Oblivion but not Prey. LoL
