I think that each sonic 3d game had a good and bad and i'll explain each one.

Sonic adventure

Good: gave us the first 3d sonic game.

Bad: It had to throw in hub worlds and non speed stages.

Sonic adventure 2

Good: Fast levels with no hub worlds and mostly sonic stages.

Bad: Shooting and hunting levels really didn't fill in for the speed levels.

Sonic heroes

Good: Lock on the speed only.

Bad: Put fighting and slowing the speed down.

Shadow the Hedgehog

Good: Put speed and lots of levels in with different paths of stories.

Bad: Shooting with speed brought it down to a bad game.

Sonic and the rings

Good: Brought speed and lots of levels.

Bad: Bad controls and no shortcuts

Sonic unleashed Xbox 360

Good: Great speed stages

Bad: Sega had to throw in werehog levels

Sonic unleashed Wii

Good: Great speed stages with great controls

Bad: Speed stages fousc more on racing then running, werehog levels

Sonic next gen

Good: Good gameplay if you throwed out the glitches and speed up sonic

Bad: Long loading, glitches, and bad speed

Sonic and the black knight

Good: Neat idea

Bad: Not even a sonic game
