Oh, I thought it was supposed to be a fake remake.:P And yes, there was a PH bundle with a gold DSlite, with a triforce on it. $200, though.:( So.. is that 3DS Japan only or just fake?gamedude2009

this is fanart

but link's awakening for the 3DS is true.

[QUOTE="MrDetail"]Hello all, I am an older father of a 6.5 yr. old daughter who will turn 7 in June. I have a few more months to figure out which model of Nintendo's DS might be best for her. Could anyone please give me some tips on which model to buy for her 7th birthday? (i.e. longer lasting battery, better screen) Thanks much!Will47

Your choosing this at a tricky time, the 3DS his coming just around the corner. It's not as much in the DS line as it is a whole new system, you can read about it here if you want.

Unless you feel comfortable spending the $250 the system will cost when it comes out, I would look at the current run of DS systems. The DS lite and DSi would be the two to consider, the DS lite plays all the games, is small, has great screens, and good battery life. The DSi has all of that and slightly bigger screens, two cameras, and the ability to download small games from the DSiware store (think app store for phones).

It really comes down to preferance and what you think she would like. If you just want the core features get the DS lite. If you think she would enjoy the cameras and other added features, get the DSi.

And of course be sure to look at the 3DS and decide if that's what you want to do or not.

I'm not sure if a 6 year old really needs a 3DS... Anyway, I'd get a DSlite, if you prefer an unused model. I don't think they even sell original DSs anymore, and a DSi has a lot of extra features, but it does cost more. A DSi has extra features like the Camera, Shop (where you can download games form wifi) and the sound (where you can record sound and play around with it). If your daughter will be easily entertained by games alone, I'd say get the lite, but she might have more fun with the DSi. I wouldn't get the original model or the DSiXL. Hope this helps.;)

that dosen't make sense

It makes perfect sense, I didn't follow TP, or any other Zelda game until SS, OoT 3D, and ST. I didn't even know about TP until I saw the commercials and such. And please stop saying I make no sense at all, I do not appreaciate it.

It didn't make sense.... It wasn't an attack on you :?

It makes sense if you understood what I meant... sorry if I was hard to understand.

If you believed a word of that, you must've not lived through the years leading up to the release of Twilight Princess. :P

Actually, no, I technically didn't.

I wish Nintendo would realize a Zelda Bundle would sell a lot of systems for them...

And that they should make one like this.

Right now.

Exactly! I would've bought the PH bundle! (if I had $200:P) And hey, look closely at the back of the box... has the original pics of Link's Awakening.:P

...They had a PH bundle? D:

It comes with LA installed - which would make the bundle even better. :D

I'd prefer not to have a vehicle at all, really... that's why WW was annoying to me... anyway, I do like the boat better, you get more control, but with the train, you can go to different areas, like volcanoes and snow... I liked the storyline of ST, and the Tower of Spirits was better than the Temple of the Ocean King... But ST was waaaay too short... I dunno.

um StarFox and yes earthbound would be good also.

They made quite a few starfox games... not Wii, but GC, VC, DS, N64, and 3DS.
