Still the best online FPS, they get the feel of the guns right, the tactical gameplay, the map design is amazing, the new matchmaking stuff in CS:GO is the best because they do not use stupid lobbies and it has an SDK so custom maps, models and mods!

On the PC the CS series is more popular than COD and BF combied, it is obvious to see why, Valve like to support their games over the years, release tons of free content and are pro user created content. Where COD and BF get churned out all the time, they do not support the community, no mods and people get tired of constantly having to move to the next one each year.

The number one thing I love about CS though is it is one of the very few games that gets the feel of the guns right. For me COD feel like pea shooters and BF games make their guns feel all floaty so that the close quarters gun play is really shite. CS they just feel powerful and they're so satisfying to shoot, you feel when you get hit and you feel when you've hit another player, it is hard to describe but very few games actually give that feeling.

CS also doesn't do the quick knife bullshit, you have to take out your knife and run with it. This means knives are always a last resort and that is how they should be. The last time I played COD, people were knifing people like 10ft away and it became more effective to just knife... I hate quick knives, they need to go.
