haha no post in this thread in over a year, i havent posted in forever, stumble back to ot to see is who is around after doing a bit of reading here and i see a thread that i posted in pop up, nice
seems silly and most definitely will not pass, and as for his college students idea, it will probably hinge on that student receiving federal aid for cheaper tuition or something to that effect, kind of how ROTC programs work, everything is just words right now, hes not even president yet, i would not put too much mental energy into this as of now...
i pretty much did, this is about my 4th post over the past 6 months or so, I'll come to GS to check some news or something and stop by OT for a few minutes, used to spend way too much time here
the govt. made $16 billion the day after they took over AIG, granted this bailout is a bit different, there still is a potential to recover some of the loses, no doubt the bailout has holes, but it something definitely needs to be done to restore credit, either way, i think we'll see carter administration esk interest rates within the next 10 years, the while situation is pretty bad and not a short term fix....BTW, long time since I posted, nice to see a thread worth talking about
