@lowkey254 How was it forced? No one forced you to read this article or go to the convention?

@blast880 @funkymonkey4710 @lowkey254 See you lost me when you said promoting homosexuality. This was a gaming convention tailored towards aspects of the gaming community that deal with LGBT viewpoints, individuals, and thoughts. If you would love for those to be included in regular gaming conventions then you should go out and preach for their inclusion.

All I want is to know that no matter my sexual orientation I will be accepted in the gaming community.

@malokevi You do realize that most gaming conventions you go to could be considered "straight conferences".

@blast880 @lowkey254 But this was about gaming? You are only harping on the fact that something LGBT was included with it.

@lowkey254 Because sexuality and sexual orientation, like many other characteristics such as religion, race, creed, nationality, etc. all play into the gaming player base and creative inputs when making games.

@Tadgerot I disagree, many times when you got to a regular gaming convention it IS a straight gaming convention. Many that I have gone to at least in the Midwest will look down on anyone outright showing their LGBT pride and it is nice to know there are places that can cater to this.

Great article Kevin and I really wish I could have attended! To all of the haters out there that Gamespot is becoming Pro-LGBT... Go b&$^# about equality someplace else! This was totally relevant to gaming and should be included in the sites numerous other site offerings.

@AK_the_Twilight @funkymonkey4710 I guess I could see your point. As long as the game is fun and keeps me coming back I will be happy with it!
