@sakaixx: "My original point, future xbox is no longer a viable option for game is due to younger gen such as students and young adult are moving away from traditional tv, which xbox is aimed for."
You really think a student is gonna go out and buy an expensive gaming laptop to play Microsoft games? They're gonna buy a $199 Xbox One if anything.
Some of Microsoft's biggest games have been on PC and the sales are so low you can't even find a number lol. Yes you don't need an Xbox to play Microsoft games, but is there a reason to spend triple the amount on a gaming PC?
As long as their games flop on PC Xbox ain't goin anywhere.
That's like saying the PS4 is dead because you can play some PS4 games on PC through PSNow.
I'll give you my article once you provide a source to your claims.
"Millennials still watch a lot of video content, but increasingly, that content is being viewed on subscription streaming video services and on mobile devices, rather than traditional linear television."
@sakaixx: Why do you act like you know more people with gaming laptops than consoles?
"Give me statistic gen Z is glued to TV more than their mobile devices"
Stay on topic, it's Streaming vs laptops is it not? The average college student is getting a console and a shitty laptop to write papers, not a gaming laptop. You even attend college? This is the norm.
"Xbox is dead."
Like I said before, I've been hearing that since 2013 and it's still around lol
@sakaixx: We are talking about gaming not multitasking. A laptop ain't beating a $299 Xbox.
"Younger generation is no longer glued to tv."If anything the younger generation is more glued to TV than any other generation.
"Its a better prospect to just buy a laptop that you can do multitask than buying a console and tv." On what planet does someone not already own a TV stop it.
You are getting cable and owning TV mixed up. I know many that don't have cable anymore and are subscribed to Netflix, Hulu, ect either on their smart TV or their Xbox.
"Even microsoft is going to streaming solution. Xbox will no longer be a traditional console but a service. What a pathetic end"
