I think I will get a PS3, HOME sounds good. I just like to play games, and some games are only on the PS3 so when enough games are released, then I will buy one. I have a Wii and a 360 too. I play PC games, so no fanboy'ism from me.

So many forced opinions here - at the end of the day, if you want a PS3 get one, just because Mr. Bloggs doesn't like it and thinks the "graffix sox0rz - 360 teh owag3", doesn't mean YOU won't be happy with your purchase. I own a 360 and a Wii, and plan to own a PS3 as they all bring something different to MY gameplay experience. Ultimately, it's all about how YOU play your games.

I had the same issues with Half Life 2 also. Shame, I really wanted to get back into it!

I'm with Marijndegraaf on this one. Just buy a card if you need one. I've done some serious thinking about waiting etc. At the end od the day, theres cards out now that play every game MAXED. so why wait for DX10, will it REALLY make that much difference? I don't plan on going Vista until maybe early 2008, when they've ironed out all the problems, XP works just fine for me, so does DX9. Just bought a 7950 GX2 - But can't use it as my AM2 board hasn't been delivered yet. GUTTED. Why must I be so damned impatient. New specs: AM2 system, AMD 64 X2 5000+, 2 Gig Gaming RAM (Corsair probably) 7950GX2, and the other usual spec. stuff. Going into a Thermaltake Kandalf case.
