Hahahah Cyriak did the first one -- he would make a map like that. Check him out on Youtube if you haven't, his videos are insane.

@BunX23 There are much more tasteful (and less hypocritical) ways to imply that this is a waste of money other than using starving children in third-world countries to get your point across. Know that when you make comments like that, you're implying things about yourself whether you meant to or not.

@Lucasdxx Uh.. it's a replica collector's item? That's the point of a replica. It's to collect and adore. Kinda like a collectable replica sword -- looks nearly as good as having the real thing, but useless in actual practice. If you got the expendable income, and love Portal, I think it's a fun physical piece of gaming history.

@WasTeDMinD86 What makes you so sure that the company's co-founder is not an artist, or intelectually creative on some level?

The definition of art has changed long ago, if you weren't keeping up with things. It can be defined as literally almost anything these days, including the ability to experience something -- such as an interactive piece of programming. Indeed, if you don't think games are a form of art, then you must think the only thing that can EVER qualify as art are things labelled as such at your local Fine Art Museum.

@LightRukia I think he meant that since it was made by women, it didn't have guns in it as a primary gameplay mechanic.

@SuprSaiyanRockr Braid was pretty much one of the first indie developed games XBLA put out. "Everyday Shooter" was the PS3's first -- waaaay waaay before.

@Vodoo What race are you, man? Let's shorten it for you and call you by that from this point forward -- see how it runs down your spinal cord.

I do actually agree with them to a point -- afterall, Sony started selling independently developed games much before Microsoft did. I've always thought that, on a generalized level, Nintendo players love Platformers and Adventure titles, Xbox players love Shooter and Action titles, and Sony players love RPGs and games with big stories. Doesn't mean this applies to everyone obviously, but it is what comes first to mind for me. Things did get really muddy this round of consoles, though, thanks to their more similar performance levels. Lots and lots of multi-platform releases making these generalizations more exaggerated. Though I will say this: I don't think you'd ever see experiments like Flower and Linger in Shadows on the Xbox,

@Blu-Fan-Boy I wouldn't exactly call Lost Odyssey an artistic game. It's an extremely standard fare JRPG, I got through three discs and gave up because I lost total interest. I wouldn't call Valkyria Chronicles for the PS3 an artistic game, either -- but it sure was way better of a game. Katamari doesn't really count either. It's a rehash of a PS2 original -- hell, look at how many Katamari releases there have been for Sony.
