@zabieru: Play it in the dock. The game indeed looks like shit in handheld. That surely won't change. The switch is still a tablet.

@noble_platypus lol, not enough space? Back in my days, some games had as much as 5 disc. Still, I think they made a pretty awesome job with FFXIII. Fully animated cut scenes all over the game. And not just cheap ass stiff characters with mouth lipsync. The only thing they could do better are shiny visuals. It doesn't really make the game better, just cost more money to make (and time).

@TrueGB If you don't like emulators, FF1&2 on GBA is a nice deal (=.

I just hope they make it linear like the first XIII. Serriously, that time thingy and the conversation choices never added anything to the game. It just made the dialogues meaningless.

FF XIII was the best FF I've ever played (I like lazy rpg with lots of blah blah) and I've only played 5 hours of FF XIII-2, got stuck not knowing where to go next, then got bored. I guess I'll have to get through to be up to date with the story though.

I can't believe all these people were in a good shape to begin with. Even without eating, the human body should be able to last at least 2 days. I myself did many 36 hours straight gaming or even staying up all night at school to work on my stuff. It was a lot of fun when we were 4-5 staying there but none of us could do anything productive lol.

I would understand over 3-4 days without food or sleep, but 2 days is kinda weak... Working at Blizzard and hearring that kind of news, I would be so pissed off.

Not sure who's the most pathetic, the glitch or gamespot using glitch video to publicise the game...

@tachsniper SC2 went pretty well, I played with some friends about 3 hours after the launch (went to drink a beer after waiting in line at midnight lol) and we had no lag at all. And even if an expansion is different, it still has a big impact on the server load in the few days after its release. As for the patches, WoW used to go down for a day or two after every content patches. Not anymore, they must have changed their way of doing things for Diablo 3 to have a launch that laggy and have to take down the servers for almost the whole day.

heh, at least they apologize. It's weird that until now they managed to always have smooth launches since I'd say around Burning Crusade and late WOTLK for the patches. Why couldn't they pull it off this time?

But what piss me off the most is the fact that we still have to endure connection problems to play alone... It's not like you're soloing quests in a big shared world.

@Mister_Zurkon indeed, that's when a developper has to make choices to meet the aimed public expectations. Better be a success for a few ppl than being a failure for all of them.
