aite first of all, i have the game and i highly recommend it.

topspin 3 has a really good, deep player creator option that u use to make ur player for career mode. career mode is basically just playing tournaments but its good bc u chose where to put ur players attributes (forehand, power, speed etc.). the roster does kinda suck but ur prbly gonna spend most of the time w/ ur created player so it doestn really effect the game as much.

the gameplay is great. there have been critisisms saying that thers a huge learning curve and that the controls dont respond as well but if u play it for about 20 minutes ull get over the learning curve and if u play tennis, ull know where to hit the ball, which gets rid of the unresponsive movements bc ull know where to move to the next shot. (basically its only unresponsive if u dont know where to go.)

the online is also pretty sweet. its like a world tour, kinda like how the tour works now. cept u can only use ur created player, which once again, gives u more of a reason to use ur career player over other guys when ur playing the game. the onine isnt that laggy and the offline isnt at all.

I dont know where you are playing, but here I have horrible lag after playing a few points..and its consistent ; everytime I try to go online, after a few points the gameplay freezes, and all I can hear are birds chirping and people in stands coughing sometimes...but player animations are froze solid in their current stance.

I may take game back, as I have no lag in any other online experences with ps3.
