Is it really going to be a case of 10 years build up to have a character appear one film before the endgame to save the day?

Because if it is I will be SUPER mad.

@skippert: I very rarely preorder games unless I know I will like it, this month I have gone a bit mental:

Yakuza 0 PC (already own the PS4 one on physical and digital)

Shenmue I & II on steam, ps4 digital and a physical version

Yakuza Kiwami 2 ps4 digital and physical

That covers me for August, Spidey is my banker for September :)

But I am not preordering Red Dead. I'll wait.

Ugh this is going to be those really tedious levels that irritate the hell out of me that are just padding and really don't fit into the rest of the game. Kinda like those pointless spy missions in COD WWII or any other game where you are suddenly stripped of your awesomeness and realise the game is pretty janky without those powers.

I'm locked in for this regardless of reviews as I paid for it as soon as the preorders went up. Insomniac hasn't let me down in the last 10 years or so, there isn't any reason they will do so now. One thing I am looking at it a bit sideways for is the purpose of controlling MJ, I'm really not in the least bit interested in it, I wanted webslinging not farting about being wierd journo poirot.

Got my next six weeks all sorted:

Yakuza 0 on PC on the 1st August (already finished on PS4 but what the hell)

That should take me through to the 21st August when Shenmue releases, which will then take me through to the 28th August when Yakuza Kiwami 2 comes out.

And that should take me through to September 7th when Spider-Man comes out on PS4.

I have a plan.

As good as it sounds on paper for the Marvel side, I'm more worried about all the other franchises Fox owns getting neutered and pillaged.

Never thought I'd say it but I'm definitely done with SW, I watched TLJ twice on opening day, the second time around just to make sure I saw what I thought I saw. I thought I saw an incoherent mess and I was right. I just couldn't bring myself to watch another.
