Portal is set up in the Half Life universe, seemingly in a post apocalyptic landscape. This could have happened as a direct result of the events in Half Life 2. Portal 3 then could conceivably be Half Life 3.
Dang, I was kind of hoping that Microsoft would wake up and just make Live a free service like every one of their competitors. That + $500, +always on internet connection, and a possible used game block = MAJOR FAIL.
That is kind of what I took away from the article yesterday. Seems to me they are talking about adding a tutorial at the beggining, and a difficulty slider. Not a big deal.
For me, I start up steam big picture, plug in my hdmi cable to my living room set, grab my controller and walk into the living room without the keyboard and mouse. Then the big picture works like a console GUI.
