Wasn't MGS1 3 discs? Or was it 2? Don't really remember haha.
bisonfan2010
just 2...but if they used real movie FMV files instead of cutscenes for the movie part of the game it would have been 4-5 disks. At least from what I read from a data standpoint.
the MGS1 was really 2, but if you got the INTEGRAL edition (like MGS2 substance, and MGS3 subsitence)...going to the point, MGS INTEGRAL, was 3 discs because the 3rd disc was the MGS VR training missions
also available by separate
a great game andformed by 3CD:GALERIANS, btw the screwed it with ash in the ps2 what a crap
in my opinion you MUST play VII, VIII and IX (this is my favorite) V and VI are great also
but the snes graphics maybe get annoying at this time...but it's my opinion, too many people
love X and XII, and i hate them, XII it's cool, but gets boring... too slow, like walk in wet cement
yap, you're right...anyways, i think that not make sense, from the hdd plays faster andYou mean like having it installed, but played from the disc (i.e. noise and all)? I believe you can. Put in the disc, and open the guide. There might be an option that reads "Play from Disc" ... or, go the Dashboard, click on the main game slide thing, and then say to "Play from Disc."
Never actually tried, but I swear I've seen it before. Is this even what you're asking? lol

if your getting a new ps3 and your trying to do a system backup on everything more so the copy protected save files off the original ps3 to transfer to the new ps3 . . . is it possible?The_Uber_Diablonope it must be in the same ps3 system...if not some files cannot be
restored...
Are you changing hard drive??, i made a back up from the old hdd and then restored it into the new
one (i made the back up with a WD PASSPORT ESSENTIAL 250GB) and when
i restored the files into the new hdd nothing was lost, everything was there(even the copy protected files like
the resident evil 5 save game)
except for the trophies (the only thing you have to do it's sign in into the psn and
press triangle on the trophies icon and select sync trophies (or something like that)
i made this on the 2.76 firmware.
NOTE THAT YOU MUST RESTORE INTO THE SAME PS3 SYSTEM THAT YOU MADE THE BACK UP
if you're not doning that, maybe that it's what makes the problem, hope this help
the 80GB model thatdoes NOTsupport PS2/PSOne:
it have a dark and "no-shiny" front
and just 2 USB ports
doesn't have memory cards readers neither wi-fi
basically looks like the old 20GB PS3 and 40GB
the 80GB model that support PS2/PSOne game:
it have a SHINY SILVER front with the memory card reader
it haves wi-fi
4 USB ports
basically looks like the old 60GB and the new 160GB
