Ok sorry guys I hit my post limit for the day yesterday and I had to wait a full 24hrs before I could post again :\
Anyways I followed those instructions for XMP, which had the ratings at (9-9-9-28 2000MHz) but it did not work. It would try to reboot like 3 times and then just reset itself so I input the timings manually, voltage stayed the same 1.5v, and it worked. It is now running at 11-11-11-30 2133MHz perfectly :D but the only concern I have is I'm not sure what the command rate is supposed to be. I set it at 2N because I read somewhere that it is more stable, however the AUTO setting had it listed as (9-9-9-28-1N @1600MHz). Should I switch it back to 1N or is 2N ok?
Anyways I'm stoked this is my first PC build and everything has been coming along nicely and I'm having a blast playing Path Of Exile (my graphics card came with in game money)
So I just finished my first build (yay!) and I am having issues with the RAM not running at 2133MHz. The bios says 1600MHz and when I changed a setting that set it to 2133mhz, it's rated speed, it would not boot and I had to restart it. I'm a total n00b at overclocking and PC's in general so any help is appreciated. Also a lot of my PC is from parts from 2012 becuase life has a way of screwing you when you want to buy cool stuff...... I mean marriage is wonderful and so is having a puppy...yeah :)
