Honestly, I have a 60 gig, I got it when the first price drop came about to 549. It yellow lighted on me about a month ago. Its probably only a matter of time before yours does too. As much as the 60 is better in every way, to save you from buying a new one, its probably a smart idea to trade. Also, you can use the backup utility found in the system settings. Make sure you have a big USB external drive and it should back everything up and you can put it all on your new slim. Thats my suggestion but you do as you please.

Well Ive swapped them and they look and play fine. Why give the option then to play at that resolution if it was going to affect the performance? Makes no sense to me.

The display settings issue.

I have a full 1080p Sharp Aquos TV and I had the HDMI automatically set my settings so every resolution in the display settings boxes are checked. But heres the small and stupid issue.

If I am playing a game that does go up to full 1080p resolution, such as Borderlands, it automatically plays at 720p. I have to manually go into the display settings, uncheck everything except 480i and 1080p just for it to actually run at the full 1080p resolution.

You might think, "Well thats easy, stop complaining and do it". But heres the thing. Now say I want to play Rock Band. A Game that only displays up to 720p. Since it is now unchecked, it displays at 480i. So now I goto quit the game, redo my display settings and start again. They really need a patch to fix the firmware to just automatically play a game at the highest resolution it possibly can so we are able to check all resolutions, and not have to worry about the system choosing the 720p instead of 1080p when its possible and not having to go back and swap everything around.

Its quite frustrating. Thoughts?

Yea Im hoping public soon. I wish now I waited to buy LBP haha. I got it on day one before they even announced Modnation Racers so if I knew I might have waited. Oh well. The game looks amazing.

Done and done. :P And yes, the beta codes were handed out with the Game of the Year Edition of LBP. I dunno if it has started yet or not maybe? Could be wrong.

Just curious how the beta is? I really am looking forward to the game. Is it as fun as it looks? Are the customization options as robust as the make it sound and look? I know its beta and you guys probably dont have access to all the customization choices but just a brief idea would be nice or any input. :)

I personally think they should leave the series 1-9 alone, BUT......I would love to see remakes of the Legend Series that were out for original gameboy back in 1991 or earlier. I loved Final Fantasy Legend III!! It was my fav! Amazing story and characters! I think a 3d remake of just this game would be amazing! But, they would obviously need 1 and 2 first or that would be silly. (All different stories though)
