I love playing some Red Dead Redemption on my PC. Oh wait a goddamn second!
Oh nevermind, then I'll just go play some Forza 6 or Bloodborne instead, wonder if I can get those on Steam...
In all honesty I do have a PC and a huge backlog of games I bought very cheap on Steam. I love it. But is it a better gaming experience than consoles? I don't know when I'm a bigger peasant - when I press a power button, sit down and play some game (albeit with no mods and no 4k), or when I sit down and realize that Steam Big Picture glitched again, latest N-Vidia drivers reset for no good reason and the game of my choice gets stuck at 15 FPS because the devs haven't optimized it for my GPU yet and now instead of playing I have to scour the forums, tinker with software and edit .ini files as if I'm earning an hourly wage for that.
