yea? maybe Susan O'Conners should play Uncharted series, Legacy of Kain (esp Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance), Shadow of the Colossus; and maybe she should go through the script written for Red Dead Redemption while she's at it.
This is what happens when you start releasing a game every year. Insomniac should learn from naughty dog, up until the last generation, they were both toe to toe in terms of their quality, but insomniac lost the edge when they started releasing games back to back every year. My advice: slow down a bit and focus on quality
Mark of Kri and Kya: Dark Lineage, two of the most underrated gems of their generation. I feel more can be done with the basic combat system of MoK, and I said Kya because there's a surprising lack of good fantasy action adventure games these days. Oh and I wanna ride those wind tunnels again... and we definitely need a new Jak and Daxter game. A proper J&D game with the current tech would be amazing.
@gt350tsc - yup, and I usually wait a couple of months, in some cases an year or more, for the prices to drop down before I buy a game. Actually, I usually buy them used :P
@joMosmith @eyerok - hmm true true. I have great respect for Adam as a reviewer...but a 9 is a really good score man. 9 is a masterpiece, same as 10. It just comes down to the reviewer in the end, its a personal opinion only.
@joMosmith - Correct me if I be wrong, Adam sessler's reviews are out of 5 not 10. There's a huge difference between the 5 star and 10 score system, even Adam Sessler said as much once.
@panndemic @jhonMalcovich - thats why I'm saying, instead of raising the bar by giving games like Bioshock Infinite 9.5, the scoring system should now become more strict, so that games that deserve an 8 or 8.5 dont get a 9 or 9.5. But tbh, it ultimately boils down to the reviewer and what he feels. Everyone has a different taste and a different scoring scale.

in any case I dont think any game deserves a perfect 10, although there may be once in a decade exception. Even though i gave a perfect score to some games like Super meat boy or Orange box, that is personal preference and I would be satisfied even if my all time favorite games got a 9.
