I have that board. it's a great board in my storm enforcer. Some notes: there are two PCI-E slots and since you're going to crossfire one of the GPUs will go over the sata plugs. so you're going to need the ones that go slanted in the SATA ports The southbridge I believe (or is it north? well one of them) gets fairly warm but if you got good cooling you should be fine. In a hot day here in CA on load I'd reach 70C according to HW monitor.. but that's a kinda buggy program occasionally IMO. It's a great board .. and you don't need a z68 unless you're gonna take advantage of the coding.. which I highly doubt.

I actually prefer doing it through battle log considering the game loads significantly much faster compared to previous battlefield games.

IF I were to get a mid tower, probably be Cooler Master HAF 922. ($89.99)

Blue-Sky
Storm Enforcer also is good :o

easiest way is to copy the steam.exe file and steamApps folder back to where you want it to be .. and run STEAM.exe should have worked :T

my mobo only allows to have control of only 2 fans.. while the other 2 run at 100% all the time X_x.. that's why i bought a fan controller :X.. so far bios smart fan seems to work fine :x its spinning at 1k rpm when i'm idle which is relatively quiet.. and when i'm gaming it goes faster depending on how warm it is.. 45C is what i have it set :X.. i'll take a look at speedfan since i don't have to restart to get to bios

So I just bought a fan controller and is hooked up to my front intake fan, my rear exhaust and my top exhaust fan..

I currently have those off and I just enabled the smart fan control in bios..

I'm not overclocked or anything and my temperatures seem fine..

Question is.. is there anything that can go wrong in the long run with my setup? I do plan on turning the fans on once I'm gaming but prior to that I would like to keep it off considering I can actually hear the quiet of my room lol

Get the Storm Enforcer :) One of the best cases out there imho.

Daytona_178

that's what I bought 74$ at Frys. only downside is the missing topfan but you probably won't need that at least not when you first do your build.. you can get it later :) oh yea. and the amount of screws T__T

The only driver updates I intend to do regularly are video card drivers. I only update drivers on things that are broken or not working to efficiency.. ie. some newer BIOS updates sometimes BSOD on me.. or a network driver i udpated turns out to occasionally disables its self.
