@blueinheaven:

AMEN Brother!!! Gamers are the stupid ones for buying games digitally without being informed how good the game is with game play videos and not over hyped trailers. I used the system and if Sony will not supply great AAA demos I will find a way. I will buy a used game from gamestop with the 7 day return policy and get my money back if the game is crap. I will rent from Redbox(although the PS4 games are limited but they tend to have AAA games). I have used the 30 day trial from gamefly like I did when I rented infamous for a month.I will also try to get my hands on Betas which is another way of playing a demo Whatever it takes to play games for free before giving away $60. I do buy digital games for $10-15 only when i am sure this is my type of game and will play it forever like Pure Pool and I bought Valiant Heart knowing I just wanted something different.

I just wrote a post informing my people here that BestBuy has LBP3, Driveclub and Infamous First LIght as demos among some indie style stuff. Why can we at least get LBP3 to make up for Driveclub not available to the PSN+ members like myself? I played Driveclub(free) with the gamestop used game policy but would have kept it if the servers wasn't poop.

I am just saying the CLOWNS are people who don't do their research and read up on the games they buy and stop preordering games coming out a yr from now. THAT IS VERY STUPID. I love Uncharted series but will never preorder a yr out from the release nor get a AAA game digitally and stuck with if its garbage. I want physical copies of most of my games for resell if I choose.

I do feel reading reviews help you determine the worth of the game at least how the game controls or all the content we get or if the game is a series and they fixed the things people complained about. I agree the score of reviews aren't the most important thing but its the content that matters the most. Embargo are becoming extremely common these days and no one can tell me this was AS common as back in the day. Now you see game sites getting copies from stores to give us reviews ahead of time. Advertisers are banking on us not relying on reviews and cant wait to get the game then once we open that wrapper from a store or download that digital game its OVER. Your money is down the window. Take that new physical copy back to the store and lose more than half of what it is worth. Now you got to depend on craigslist to get some cheap punk to give you a fair value of the game.

IF YOU GET THE POINT BY NOW USE YOUR BRAIN GOD GAVE.

@MarcRecon:

You guys are welcome and enjoy. I think what disturbs me is how Sony operates. Everyone will say the demos we have gotten for paying for PSN+ are not always stellar. Why couldn't we get these demos before best buy got them? I can see drive club not being a demo since PSN+ owners should be the first to get their hands on a free copy. But its no excuse not getting a demo of LBP3. Getting LBP 3 as a demo would have made up for the debacle of Driveclub IMO. This is just good business more than anything. Now Sony could surprise us this tuesday and give us these demos. I am just glad I got a chance to play LBP3 to see how well it plays and looks. I know we are getting Infamous First light for free so I guess they figure why bother giving us a demo first.

@cooolio:

Well we agree to disagree the magnitude of the impact Rockstar has with open world gaming. I don't know anyone that does it better and give you everything you wish and more.

@SoNin360: Yeah i have a problem with games that are always online like NBA 2k when you have non dependable servers not to mention PSN servers in general. When PSN is down I couldn't even play my NBA season.

@cooolio: there was planning with scouting out the place with more than one person doing certain objectives. I mean this is a waste of time. GTA5 has some of the best missions in the history of video games. You may not like it but millions of others and most critics think otherwise.

I had some free time today and was scouting out best buy and target for deals for gaming this holiday. I went over to best buy kiosk in the PS4 section and low and behold there were some demos not given to us on PSN.

I played Infamous First light which i will have to admit is a great demo and reminded me how good second son looked. I am aware First Light we will get free next month but nice to check it out beforehand as a demo. It is worth going to the store to check it out. Drive Club was there also and after playing The Crew Beta, I will have to get Drive club again at some point when they get their Sh** together. The cars are spectacular looking and the performance of the cars drive superior to the crew not to mention the overall environment. As some already know i had drive club but returned it due to the notorious online issues. Another game I am excited about after playing a slice of what in store when it comes out is LBP 3. I am amaze how Sony can have demos of these games but people who pay for PSN don't get all these AAA demos. LBP3 looks gorgeous and you get to play the dog and the shrinking character. There are 2 levels to play and its just fun and whimsical and relaxing. I would love to see reviews on the single player story and online components.

Axiom verge and race the sun also were playable demos. Race the sun is a typical indie game that is bland to me but cool to check it out nonetheless to know its not worth buying. I didn't bother to play axiom verge which just doesn't interest me. Oh by the way, the new demo for How to Survive is actually a cool demo with the top down look from psn. I don't mind top down games with detail looking real people vs some abstract weird looking characters from most indie style games. Im probably not going to buy the game but with all the games coming out for holiday and to save up for all the blockbuster games next yr. I also like the BOTS theme we got this last week on US PSN+.

I will continue playing it but the driving doesn't seem to change with the lack of solid braking where u tend to keep sliding and the slippery movement around corners. The car doesn't feel like it's grips the surface and I am at level 7 and never feel improvemenf in the car performance

@cooolio: well you're right it's your opinion but 34 million bought this game and must have felt otherwise. It wasn't the story that drove the game as much as the great heist. It was exhilarating to pull off a heist with all the planning and how to execute it with perfection. The side missions were fun and the cars drive better than most car games.

Well here is my accessment of the beta. This has convince me not to like buy it. The cars just feel too floaty and easy to drive out of control and the brakes Just suck. It's not about the arcade feel as much as it feels way to loose. I have upgraded to a better car from the one given to me from the beginning but I still feel the same control. I will continue and play and upgrade especially the suspension to see if anything changes. So far I like the story mission style but graphics are a 7/10 and cars are way too loose. I much prefer drive club and feel driveclub would be the kind of cars I like even without the chance to improve car performance. In driveclub I feel my driving skills make the difference in wins and loses.
