If Lackey, Beckett and Dice have bounce back seasons to go along with Clay and Lester, that's a very, very scary rotation. I'm still curious as to how Salty is going to perform behind the plate, though he has the best mentor he possibly could in Tek.
Devils really taking it upon themselves to make the season as interesting as possible at this point it seems. If anything, maybe a strong finish will convince Parise to stay, regardless of a playoff spot or not (they are still mathematically in it, just very, very, very unlikely...)
About the Yanks, I think they will be playing for a wild card, Boston definitely looks like the team to beat in the AL. I could be wrong but the addition of Crawford and Gonzales plus the return of Dusty (best 2B in the game) and Jacoby. I wouldn't be surprised to see these guys win 100+.

They were at the top of the league in almost every offensive category, and that was with injuries to Youk, Pedroia, Drew and Jacoby, and plugging in Triple A players for the majority of the season. Scary to think what a healthy lineup is going to look like with the addition of Crawford and Gonzalez. As for Pettite, he had a great career, I have all the respect in the world for the guy. Worked hard, went about his business, always pitched great when he had to. Tough loss for the Yanks, especially since he was solid last year. The 3 4 and 5 spots in the rotation are up in the air for them.
