Listen, the day it dropped I was looking for translation apps because I wanted to play so bad. Then I heard the news it was coming to the west. I put my wallet away. Still its a daily battle, I want to play it that bad. I don't want to wait. :(
I guess the thought process is they want wildly successful hits rather than mildly successful hits? Which means more buzz and fanfare, but theres a risk that it doesn't work out at all. I can see that a bit, while you're in the driver seat in terms of programming and doing well; why not try to see if you can get people talking about another show.
Eh I need more feathers than anything else, but I play once or twice a day and thats about it. Spending 0 cash good for me to be able to wind down before bed.
@JBLAZE916: I dont think that's the case, I think they do the review roundup to give you a sample of difference in opinion. I played Halo Wars one, and it wasn't for me. So I knew I wouldn't be playing Halo wars 2.
Too simple and boring for my taste as I need more for my RTS needs. Halo wars one was a 5 for me personally. However my personal review is just that, my review on it.
I feel people want some objectivity which other than being a functional low bug game how do you do this? Is the music enthralling? Up to personal opinion. Is the game fun? Up to personal opinion.
What you can do is, are there bugs? Are the controls responsive? Those are the lines of questions that lead into objectivity.
Other than that it really comes down to personal opinion.
@DarkCaptain3: Eh if they are announcing the price point and release date for the Scorpion. Being the first makes sense in that it will overshadow the event. Which is what they want. It makes business sense. If you're the first with big news everything else will look smaller by comparison.
Going on a couple days later or the next day gives time for people to be obsessed with some other product. Some of which you may not get back to your announcement.
I get it, not a huge Microsoft fan but I think its a smart move.
