Well, my main power source started getting stinky, so i had to use the backup until i can afford to buy a new one. Unfortunately the backup isn't strong enough to handle my current configuration, so i had to give the video card a break and go integrated for a while.
This mean no new(er) games for me, so i'm sticking to old-school this month or until whenever i scrounge up enough money....
I got Wizardry 8 and the Eschalon Books to keep me company for now, got the Fallout Merry X-Mas gift from GoG if i go in overtime and the game that hasn't left my PC since 2003, Heroes of Might and Magic III.
No, wait... i lost the CDs of that last one... 10 years man, 10 years... I should search for them when i can... gotta make it 20...
Thank you, my neighbour, for letting me try this game out!
It's quite fun really. Chat with characters, then go into planning mode on the map and rush into battle once you've made your choices.
Still, early on in the campaign, it's easy win against the AI. My final battle before i overstayed my welcome gave me a 21% chance to win, but it was over in almost an instant.
If i can get the game for myself, i'd love to lose pathetically on insane mode.
